Holly Moon, DDS, MS
Specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics
Dr. Holly Moon earned her DDS degree at UCLA School of Dentistry. She then earned her Orthodontic specialty certificate at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. She has previously served as a full-time Assistant Professor of Advanced Orthodontics at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. In addition to her dental degree, she has a BS degree in Information & Computer Science and a MS degree in Biomedical Informatics. One of her interests includes application of technology in healthcare. Dr. Moon is an active member of American Dental Association (ADA) Standards Committee on Dental Informatics, Integration of Orthodontic Standards Working Group, American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) Electronic Health Records (EHR) Informatics Group, and Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine Clinical Terms (SNOMED CT) Clinical Reference Group. She is a consultant of Systematized Nomenclature of Dentistry (SNODENT) Maintenance Committee of the ADA and has contributed extensively to the organization of SNODENT Ortho subset. Dr. Moon was recognized by the 2021 ADA Standards Committee on Dental Informatics Volunteer Award from the ADA Board of Trustees.
